Decorating my dorm room was always one of my favorite things to do in college. One of my least favorite things though was searching for hours on end for exactly what I wanted!
Hopefully this post helps you avoid that and gives you some good ideas for your dorm room without much effort.

Bedding
Bedding is something that I could literally search for hours for! Pro tip, you will have a much better selection if you get queen bedding. I struggle to find bedding I love that comes in Twin XL!
Tapestry
The tapestry on the right was one I got for my dorm my sophomore year of college and I had it for 5 years because I loved it so much! Tapestries are the quickest and easiest way to immediately spruce up a drab room! Plus the are cheap! Add some lights and you already have a pretty cute dorm room just with those two things!
Wall Decor
Adding string lights is my absolute favorite thing to do for a room! I have also had my string lights since college and still use them in our bedroom now! Also another super cheap option for decorating! I also had tons of pictures on my wall that I would print at Walgreens throughout the semester so I could look back at all the fun memories I was making.
I like to chose the major things above then go from there! So below are some dorm room ideas organized by color or theme!
Rose Gold
So I am a huge fan of rose gold and I am obsessed with these dorm room decorations. Especially the lamp!
Pro tip: loft your bed or heighten it with bed raisers and put cute drawers like these to save space and have super cute storage for your dorm room.
Black & White
Okay.. maybe I have a lamp obsession too because this lamp is to die for! And if your dorm room has an awful plain tile floor like I did my sophomore year of college, rugs are an amazing addition!
Storage bins are you best friend when you have a tiny space to work with! In college I had some in our room, bathroom, under my bed, and my closet!
Boho
Lastly, some boho style decorations for your dorm room!
